Leighton Meester on Gossip Girl set: Cut-out Jason Wu dress

Episodes for the final season of Gossip Girl continued to be filmed around New York City throughout the month. The other day, we saw Leighton Meester’s character Blair Waldorf rocking a brown and orange ensemble.

The actress walked around the Upper East Side wearing an orange Jason Wu dress (from the Pre-Fall 2012 collection), which featured tiny black polka-dot prints, cut-out details at the neckline and a handkerchief hemline. She then kept warm in a long brown Giada Forte belted wool cardigan with front welt pockets and contrast trim at placket and collar.

Leighton Meester’s character accessorized with a brown and tan Bvlgari “I. Rossellini” top handle bag with orange zigzag print. Thank god they let her wear a gorgeous pair of M.C.L by Matthew Campbell “Laurenza” multi-colored sapphire pave drop earrings that gave Blair a much-needed pop of color.

This scene probably required close-ups, since Leighton only sported a pair of light blue flip flops.
