Natalie Portman was in Las Vegas yesterday to speak at the Nevada Women’s Summit held at the Fifth Street School auditorium, wearing an all-black ensemble and her go-to pumps for daytime events.
The 31-year-old actress wore a black sheer collared top with buttons, cap sleeves and a mini peplum. She continued her all-black outfit with black slacks and a pair of black Charles by Charles David “Pure” pumps – the same ones she wore at the 2011 Academy Awards nomination luncheon but in fuchsia color. These black satin pumps she wore in Vegas featured an inch-high platform and 5-inch heels.
Since both the fuchsia and black versions come from Charles David’s vegan line, they’re perfect for Natalie Portman who doesn’t wear fur or leather.
The only pop of color from Natalie’s outfit came from her bold red nails and a campaign button that showed her support for President Obama’s reelection. During her speech, Portman also spoke about Obama’s fight for women’s rights.
