We’ve always been a little too hard on Amy Adams because we know she can do better on the red carpet than her maroon dresses, but when she attended the premiere of her movie “The Master” during the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival, we had to give her credit where credit is due….because the actress looked super glamorous!

The 38-year-old Adams wore a stunning black Marchesa cocktail dress, which featured dainty cap sleeves, a below-the-knee hem with a semi-slit at the back, a gorgeous neckline and black tulle and ribbon embellishments from the left shoulder down to her right hip. The slimming dress looked super chic with a black pair of Manolo Blahnik pumps.

Amy Adams kept her accessories minimal to a black satin VBH clutch and added a pop of color to her outfit with a stunning pair of diamond and tourmaline stud earrings. Amy’s hair and makeup were also spot-on for the event – Wearing her long red hair into a woven chignon updo, Adams finished off her look with just a hint of pinkish blush, black eyeliner on her upper lids and pink gloss.
