Karolina Kurkova joined Anne Hathaway and Sarah Jessica Parker during the 2012 New York City Ballet Fall Gala held at the Lincoln Center yesterday, wearing a Valentino piece just as dramatic.
The 28-year-old model channeled little red riding hood in a bold red Valentino silk gown (from the designer’s Fall/Winter 2012 Haute Couture collection), which featured a sheer panel neckline, waist and skirt, a floor-length hem and a pleated floor-length cape hanging over her shoulders.
Karolina Kurkova paired of her dramatic red-hot caped gown with metallic pointed-toe pumps, which didn’t add anything to the gown. Fortunately it was kept underneath the gown most of her red carpet appearance. She also accessorized with a long, dark red clutch and a pair of gold with emerald stone drop-style earrings. Kurkova wore her long blonde hair down in a center-parted sleek ‘do and finished off with minimal makeup.
Do you love her look? Or do you prefer Sarah Jessica Parker’s romantic caped gown?
