Viola Davis in Alberta Ferretti silk gown

Viola Davis attended the premiere of her new movie “Won’t Back Down” at the Ziegfeld Theater in New York City last Sunday, wearing a gorgeous gown in shade of oceanic blue.

The 47-year-old actress was all smiles as she stepped out onto the red carpet in a light blue Alberta Ferretti silk gown that featured short sleeves, a wide v-neckline, and a thick waistband with two pleated vertical strips attached that run down the center of her floor-length skirt.

Viola Davis may have kept her gown minimalist, but she didn’t skimp on bold accessories. Wearing a pair of shimmery metallic strappy platform sandals hidden under her flowy skirt, she paired off her gown with a silver metallic clutch, a chic diamond bracelet and a pair of diamond drop-style earrings.

Davis kept her natural curls in display, which looked perfect with the earrings, her smokey eyes with metallic eyeshadow and red pout.
