Anna Kendrick appeared on “The Late Show with David Letterman” the other day, brightening up the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City with her bright yellow dress.

The 26-year-old actress, who is currently promoting her musical comedy flick “Pitch Perfect,” wore a yellow Halston Heritage satin dress (from the Resort 2013 collection) that featured a single-shoulder strap and draping details at the bodice and her above-the-knee skirt. When she arrived at the studio, Anna wore a black leather shoulder bag and an olive green double-breasted trench coat that covered up her entire dress.

Anna Kendrick toned down the bright color of her ensemble with a taupe pair of B Brian Atwood “Bambola” peep-toe pumps with a soft suede wrapped heel and platform. Wearing her hair down with natural waves, the actress added glitz to her outfit with pieces from Dana Rebecca Designs that included a pair of “Agnes Fortune” diamond earrings and the “Melissa Louise” diamond ring.
