Elle Fanning: Too young for her vintage floral gown?

October 10, 2012 by Paulene

Elle Fanning attended the premiere of drama film “Ginger & Rosa” during the 50th Annual New York Film Festival held at Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center the other day, wearing a gorgeous floor-length dress that aged her (again), but still worthy of a feature.

The 14-year-old actress went all vintage in a black chiffon dress with sheer long sleeves that ends with bold thick cuffs, flowy floor-length skirt, a matching waist band, a ribbon tied around the neck hanging on the bodice, and a bold print that includes mustard yellow, green, red and gold flowers and off-white polka dots scattered throughout the dress.

Elle Fanning paired the dress with gold Marni pumps that featured a beige platform. She finished off her look with her blonde hair worn down with slight waves and barely there makeup.

We love this younger Fanning to bits and appreciate how fashion-forward she is, but we can’t help but think the ensemble aged her significantly. What do you think?
