Salma Hayek was super chic in all-black as she visited the Ed Sullivan Theatre to promote her movie “Here Comes The Boom” at The Late Show with David Letterman the other day, but is her chunky choker necklace really necessary? Check out her look and sound off below…

The 46-year-old actress looked very business-y as she wore a black satin blazer over her black Cushnie et Ochs leather dress (from the Pre-Fall 2012 collection) that featured short sleeves, a sexy v-neckline and a central slit at the front. She paired this up with black fishnet tights and completed her look with black satin Giuseppe Zanotti platform pumps (from the Spring 2012 collection) designed with hidden platform and a tapered heel.

Wearing a pair of pitch-black sunglasses, Salma Hayek continued with her all-black theme as she carried a black leather Balenciaga “Tube” handbag (from the Nicolas Ghesquière’s Fall/Winter 2012 collection). At first look, the much needed pop of gold on her necklace was a great addition to her dark ensemble, but the chunky black chain and golden chain-and-lock design of her Yves Saint Laurent necklace didn’t seem to fit her smart casual ensemble.

Salma wore her hair up into an updo and finished off with smokey eyes, coral cheeks and frosted nude lips.
