Real-life partners Tim Burton and Helena Bonham Carter joined 56th BFI London Film Festival for the premiere of their new animated film “Frankenweenie” the other day. As usual, the couple was dressed in black, but Helena spiced it up with a lacy ensemble with a white bodice.
The 46-year-old English actress wore a Marc Jacobs cocktail dress (from the Resort 2011 collection) that featured white floral lace embroidery on her strapless bodice, connected to a tea-length black skirt with black floral lace embroidery. She then kept warm by adding a black three-quarter-sleeved shrug on top of her dress.
Helena Bonham Carter paired the dress with black platform suede pumps and brought along her favorite Lulu Guinness Glamour Girl bag. HBC added a much-needed pop of color to her steampunk ensemble thanks to her red nails, two-toned ring and gorgeous charm bracelet. She then finished off her look by styling her curly locks up into her trademark messy-but-not-really ‘do. Top-lined eyeliner and glossy nude lips completed her look.
