During the LACMA 2012 Art + Film Gala honoring Ed Ruscha and Stanley Kubrick in LA Saturday, Amber Heard and Bella Heathcote both stayed away from bold colored dresses (like Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s rich green column gown), and opted for neutral colors instead. They wore opposites, black for Amber and white for Bella, but chose the same pair of Gucci pumps. Who rocked it more?

Amber Heard wore a black Gucci dress (from the Spring 2013 collection) that features an intricate gold and black beaded neckline, connected to a solid-black mini dress and a racer-back detail. Amber, who is currently sporting brunette hair, paired the bold dress with the black Gucci “Lisbeth” multi-strap pumps and accessorized with only the gold Gucci horsebit bracelet in 18kt pink gold, black synthetic corundum and black diamonds. Red nails, a red pout and double the lashes finished her look.

Bella Heathcote was dressed in gold bead-embellished white Gucci mini dress (an off-runway dress included in the Spring 2013 collection) that featured a very detailed high neckline and faux cap sleeves embellished with tons of white paillettes, small gold beads and floral appliques. Like Amber, Bella paired her Gucci ensemble with black Gucci “Lisbeth” multi-strap pumps and a silver square Gucci clutch (from the Fall 2011 colelction). She finished off her look with a ponytail and blunt bangs, a pink pout and edgy statement earrings with black onyx stone.

While both Amber’s and Bella’s dresses are elegantly stunning, we think the Lisbeth pumps fit Amber’s ensemble perfectly. Bella should’ve chosen something gold or silver for her shoes instead. What do you think?
