Sophia Bush attended the 7th Annual Charity Ball benefiting Charity: Water in New York City yesterday, wearing a silk satin gown and a lot of silver elements.
The 30-year-old actress wore a Beulah “Painted Lady” silk satin gown that featured a “Butterfly Effect” print, a pleated neckline, thigh-high slit and three-quarter-length sleeves. Although the floor-length gown is actually beautifully printed, we didn’t think Sophia had the height to pull it off, since it seemed too long for her. She also should’ve included the metallic belt shown on the model, which would’ve helped in cinching her waist.
Sophia Bush added silver elements to her dark gown, which included a silver Edie Parker “Jean” confetti clutch and a pair of silver Christian Louboutin “Just Picks” pumps (from the Spring 2012 collection) designed with PVC and embellished cap-toe. We adore this shoe completely, but the length of Sophia’s dress didn’t give her shoes enough space to shine.
Bush finished off her look with her brown hair tied into a ponytail with blunt bangs. She then rimmed her eyes with black eyeliner topped off with shimmering silver eyeshadow, pink lips and pink-tinged cheeks.
