Some ladies who attended the 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards Sunday went with red-hued gowns, while others wanted to sparkle in dazzling gowns. Lucy Liu was breathtaking in a strapless Carolina Herrera light blue gown (from the Pre-Fall 2013 collection) that featured rich green leaves and flowers in pinks, red and yellow scattered from the bodice down to her full ball gown skirt. Her gown also featured front pockets and elegant pleated details below the waist that gave her tiny waist much more emphasis. Underneath her poofy gown was a pair of Salvatore Ferragamo shoes. Lucy also accessorized with a 35-carat Lorraine Schwartz “Pariba Cabachon” ring and a pair of diamond earrings.

“Modern Family” teen star Ariel Winter looked adorable in a light pink Valentino brocade dress (from the Resort 2013 collection) that featured multiple neon-colored embroidered flowers all-over, dainty short sleeves, and a knee-length hem. She added more glitz to her ensemble with a pair of crystal-embellished Benjamin Adams “Chicago” pointed-toe pumps, a metallic Jimmy Choo “Mosaic” box clutch (from the Spring/Summer 2011 collection), a Sylva & Cie ring, a diamond bracelet from Open Hearts by Jane Seymour, and a silk chiffon Jennifer Behr headwrap encrusted with tons of turquoise crystals.

Best Actress nominee Sienna Miller blossomed in a two-piece pastel Erdem ensemble that featured tons of pastel floral embroidery all-over with several contrasting bright orange applique flowers popping out. The loose sleeveless top had a sheer upper bodice and was paired with a body-hugging, floor-length skirt with the same floral print. Sienna completed her look with a pair of silver Giuseppe Zanotti crystal-embellished sandals (from the Fall 2012 collection) and added more flower elements to her ensemble with white gold and diamond Van Cleef & Arpels “Fleurette” earstuds.

    70th Annual Golden Globe Awards

After wowing us with her fiery Monique Lhuillier red gown at the 2013 BET Honors, Halle chose another dramatic gown for the Golden Globes. She wore a flowing Atelier Versace dress (from the Fall 2012 Haute Couture Collection) that featured a one-shoulder bejeweled strap, a structured bodice made of printed leather straps with mini gold buckles, cutout detail on one hip, and a flowing printed chiffon skirt with a sexy thigh-high side slit. Halle Berry finished off her look with pale pink Christian Louboutin “Pigalle” pointed-toe pumps and added glitz with a pair of gold geometric hoop earrings and gold bracelets.

Golden Globes co-host Tina Fey arrived on the red carpet wearing a custom-made white L’Wren Scott cocktail dress, which was inspired by a tuxedo as seen on the solid-white lapels tucked at the bust, a tea-length hem, and black dainty netting overlay embellished with tons of black sparkling lace embroidery. She paired it up with black Salvatore Ferragamo hidden platform satin pumps, a black Roger Vivier “Short Night Tube” clutch and Fred Leighton jewelry.
