Pregnant Malin Akerman led the ladies at the InStyle And Warner Bros. Golden Globe after-party held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel. Check out what she wore and which designers Shay Mitchell, Jamie Chung, Hannah Simone, Jane Levy and Sofia Vergara decided to go with at the party.
Malin Akerman was definitely glowing in her blue-hued Alberta Ferretti lace gown
(from the Spring/Summer 2013 Collection) that featured a v-neckline, a floor-length hem, and nude underlay (topped by a sheer aqua overlay embroidered with lace embroidery in dark blue and light blue color). She paired it up with gunmetal patent leather Jimmy Choo “Lance” double ankle-strap sandals and accessorized with a gray Anya Hindmarch-designed Marano clutch and a pair of Stephen Webter Forget Me Knot quartz bracelets.
Shay Mitchell partied in a white Valentin Yudashkin dress (from the Spring/Summer 2013 collection) designed with contrasting gold embellishments and sexy see-through panels on the bodice, a round neckline and thigh-high side slit. She added more gold to her ensemble with a pair of metallic Giuseppe Zanotti Bronze Lame platform pumps and a thick SunaharA “Suna” mid-knuckle ring.
Jamie Chung wore the Nicole Miller “Drop Dead Gold Gorgeous” tulle gown designed with a low v-neckline connected to thin spaghetti straps, all-over gold beading, and racer back with a central cutout detail at the back. With that much sparkle on her dress, Jamie kept her accessories simple with just a pair of rings and diamond stud earrings.
Hannah Simone wore a gray Naeem Khan gown (from the Spring 2012 collection) designed with off shoulders (that she should’ve let fall down a bit more), a floor-length hem, some draping on the bodice, a fitted waist and sheer gray overlay embellished with gold and silver beads and embroidered with white and gray flowers. She wore an oversized ring and matching earrings, before finishing off with a dark berry lip and blunt bangs.
Jane Levy was dressed in a black tea-length dress with tons of tiny white rectangular-shaped prints mixed with mini flowers all over. Unfortunately, we think the dress was too casual, too conservative (due to the high v-neckline) and was just ill-fitting. She finished off with black maryjane platform pumps. What we loved about Jane’s look is her hair and makeup though.
Sofia Vergara dazzled in a sparkling black strapless gown from Dubai-based Filipino designer Michael Cinco. The bodice was molded perfectly on Sofia’s body and embellished with a mix of black stones, sequins and tons of beads, while the floor-length skirt with a mini train was designed with gorgeous striped beading. An oversized, flower-shaped ring and a pair of matching earrings finished the look.
