Elizabeth Banks dress - 2013 White House Correspondents' Association Dinner (1)

Elizabeth Banks toned down her style during the 2013 White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner at the Washington Hilton in D.C.

The “Hunger Games” actress wore a rust-colored Roland Mouret “Codrington” stretch crepe gown that featured a halter neckline with black details on the straps, an origami folded on the bodice, v-back detail, a defined waist, pleating from the knee down, and a floor-length skirt. She finished off with a black pair of Brian Atwood “Hamper” pumps (from the Fall 2012 Collection).

Elizabeth Banks accessorized her gown with a black Edie Parker “Jean” box clutch and a matching black onyx ring. With her hair worn into a ponytail with bangs on her face, Banks completed her look with black onyx Irene Neuwirth earrings and barely there makeup.

This entire ensemble may be a bit too simple for Elizabeth’s style, but we think it was appropriate for the event.
