Christina Ricci looked like a super posh punk queen in plaid as she stepped onto the 2013 MET Gala Monday at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
She wore an eye-catching strapless Vivienne Westwood Couture gown that featured pleated details on the bodice, a poufy mini skirt at the front that runs into a glamorous train, and an allover plaid print in colors red, aqua blue, yellow, black and white.
With her dress being this busy, Christina Ricci chose a simpler pair of shoe – black Casadei pointed-toe pumps with crisscross straps against her black tights and a large black Ferragamo clutch. She added a shimmery cuff to one of her arms thanks to Harry Winston jewelry.
While the dress was definitely unique, what we love best about her look was the styling. She wore her hair into a shiny side-parted old-Hollywood waves (which showed off her one-piece Harry Winston long earring), before finishing off with red orange lips, black top-lined eyes with silver eyeshadow.
