Katy Perry was dripping in gold as she dressed up as a full-blown queen (complete with a crown) to represent Dolce & Gabbana at the 2013 MET Gala.

With Stefano Gabbana and Domenico Dolce by her side, Katy rocked the Joan of Arc-inspired Dolce & Gabbana gold mosaic dress (from the Fall Ready-to-Wear 2013 collection). The dress featured a knee-length hem and sleeves up to the elbow – all of which are covered with hand-beaded mosaic. She paired it up with the black velvet Dolce & Gabbana “d’Orsay” ankle-strap pumps (from the Fall 2013 collection) designed with a mosaic column heel to complement the dress.

If her dress and shoe wasn’t over-the-top enough, Katy Perry also added an embellished golden crown and oversized crucifix earrings to her look (both looked great with her black hair styled with teased curls. As for her makeup, Katy went with a dark berry pout and a hint of metallic eyeshadow.

Aside from her three statement rings, Perry also blinged her nails out for the event (Check picture 6 for her intricate golden mosaic nails). Earlier in the day, the singer posted an image on her Twitter with the caption: “Tonight for The Met I am channeling the OG queen of PUNK, JOAN of ARC.”
