Get Glowing Skin Like Celebrities….On A Budget

J-Lo's glow

We watch Hollywood celebrities strutting their stuff on the red carpet with seemingly perfect, radiant skin.

These women have make-up artists that make them look their best, but you can obtain that beautiful glow without breaking the bank. Let us show you how!

Celebrities may appear perfect but they are just normal people that have scars and skin imperfections. But we have a few tips and awesome products to give you that radiant glow.

It should go with out saying, but eating healthy and drinking lots of water is one way to improve the look of your skin. But, here are a few tips and tricks to look red carpet ready in your daily life.

You need to start out by exfoliating your skin to remove the dead skin cells. Some people like the Olay Pro-X Exfoliating Renewal Cleanser, but I’m a cheapskate and prefer to use Dove bar soap and exfoliating gloves.

Actress Jessica Biel likes to use granulated sugar with her skin cleanser. Either way, you remove those dead skin cells and reveal glowing skin.

If you want to look great with a bronze glow, we recommend trying St. Tropez Self Tan Bronzing Mousse. You can use this alone or use it as a base for your makeup. It gives you instant color that will develop to a natural-looking tan in several hours. You can read more on a few awesome self-tanners here.

For dry skin, you probably need a moisturizer. Olay products are quite good and won’t break the bank.

A make-up base is a little too much to go into in this article but we adore the L’Oreal True Match base. If your skin is dry, you may prefer the L’Oreal True Match Lumi product.

Next, use a pink or peach colored blush and apply on the apples of your cheeks. If you have a thin face, apply only on the rounded part of the cheek. If your face is wide, you’ll want to blend the blush up towards your temples.

Now for the best part, applying a luminizing product, which will give you that glow you see on all the celebrities.

My personal favorite is Benefit High Beam (Price: $26.00). There is a brush applicator so you can dot the product down the center of your nose, at the top of the cheek bone, and even on the cupid’s bow of your lips to make them appear fuller.

You just rub it in lightly and have instantly glowing skin! A little of this product goes a long way and makes your skin look so healthy. This product has no glitter or tacky sparkles, only a shimmer that gives a radiant look.

Here are other two great products:

Stila All Over Shimmer Liquid Luminizer (Price: $17.95).

MAC Strobe Cream (Price: $31.00).

The final trick is to use a highlighter on your eyes. You can use a white pencil on the inner, lower rims of the eyes to brighten your eye and make them appear larger.

Another tip is to apply a white shimmery powder to the inner corners of your eyes. This brightens the eyes and makes them pop. If you prefer a liquid, the Covergirl Intense Shadow Blast in Beige Blaze (Price: $7.99) is also a great choice.

We hope you enjoy these tips that will give you that Hollywood glow and make you look like a million bucks!
