2013 MTV Video Music Awards: What are they Wearing?

Worst Dressed - 2013 MTV Music Video Awards

Aside from Richard Simmons’ always-on-exercise-mode fashion style, there are those who attended Sunday’s 2013 MTV Video Music Awards that left us perplexed. Check out the ‘questionable’ styles of some of the stars at last night’s annual MTV event.

Worst Dressed 2013 MTV Music Video Awards - Lil Kim

First up is Lil Kim, who arrived in a one-of-a-kind Anthony Latimore leather bodysuit designed with long sleeves, plunging sweetheart neckline with feathery accents on the bodice and peplum, laser-cut peek-a-boo polka-dot cutouts all over (that showed off A LOT of Lil Kim), and a wrestlemania-like black belt with oversized gold buckle. She finished off with mustard yellow sky-high boots.

Worst Dressed 2013 MTV Music Video Awards - Katy Perry grills

Grills are never okay, even if you’re promoting a new song with them. Madonna, Lady Gaga, and Miley Cyrus all tried a set of grills, but no one can really “rock” that look, even the gorgeous Katy Perry.

Worst Dressed 2013 MTV Music Video Awards - Snooki

Jersey Shore BFFs Snooki and JWoow both wore dresses that looked a little dated. Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi was dressed in a bejeweled NYC Glitz halter dress with crisscross straps on the plunging neckline and a train. She completed her look with Jeffery Campbell heels and chandelier earrings. Meanwhile, Jenni “JWoww” Farley also wore a halter dress with a black and silver bodice (designed with paisley and floral print against lace accents) and an all-white skirt.

Worst Dressed 2013 MTV Music Video Awards - Foxy Brown

Foxy Brown chose the perfect color of her Hermes bandage dress, but went with a size a little too small, which resulted in not only showing off her lacy bra but also an inevitable nip slip. The weave also didn’t enhance her styling one bit.

Oh… And who can forget Miley Cyrus’ ensembles throughout her performance? We think that each and every piece of clothing Miley wore to the event deserves a special mention in this edition of the fashion police.
