Amy Adams joined Joaquin Phoenix for the premiere of their new film “Her” on the closing night of the 2013 New York Film Festival held Saturday night at NYC’s Alice Tully Hall.
The 39-year-old actress looked anything but 39, as she stepped onto the red carpet in a lavender Prabal Gurung dress (from the recently presented Spring 2014 collection). Her long-sleeved frock featured a draped bodice with cleavage-baring low v-neckline, while the back had a racerback-style mesh with open panels. The knee-length skirt was designed with a white satin panel and a clear lavender belt adding extra sophistication to the dress. The only complaint we have though were the cutouts on the armpits – a detail on dresses we’re not fond of.
Amy Adams kept the rest of her ensemble simple, opting for a nude suede Casadei peep-toe pumps, a pair of diamond rings from EF Collection, and a pair of slinky EF Collection stiletto earrings.
Aside from the bold dress, Amy’s styling was impeccable as well. Her half-up, half-down ‘do, bluish green eye makeup, pink-tinged cheeks and coral lips looked amazing on her.
