Rooney Mara took her love for black and white dresses to a whole new level as she stepped out for the Closing Night Gala Presentation of “Her” during the 51st New York Film Festival held Saturday night at Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center.
The actress rocked a Proenza Schouler sleeveless dress (from the Spring/Summer 2014 RTW collection) that featured a wrap-constructed, leather top with a high neckline, keyhole at the bodice and cropped hem, which was a stunning contrast to the metallic foil print of the pleated A-line, tea-length skirt. The halter top and shimmery skirt blended together thanks to the wide, white waistband.
Rooney Mara went with a simpler shoe choice: she wore a pair of black satin Brian Atwood “Tribeca” ankle-strap platform sandals and a pair of subtle and Jennifer Meyer gold rings.
For a contrasting pop of color, Rooney paired her sleek bun with smoking burgundy eye makeup and matte light pink pout.
