The Look: ”When done right, a sheer blue really pops the eye,” says Nars makeup artist Jeff Roose, who used the shade at the Doo.Ri fashion show. “It looks colorful and fresh, and it brightens without a lot of fanfare. Plus, it flatters everyone,” Roose adds of this one-size-fits-all Island Fever hue.
The Trick: Geography is key: Roose brushed blue shadow only from the inner corner to the center of the lid. He then swept a soft gray shade to the outer edge of the eye.
