The Look: “Hat head is a dilemma that plagues everyone, regardless of hair texture,” says Bumble & Bumble hairstylist Nico Aceves. To avoid the dent line of demarcation left on your tresses by a darling chapeau like Rachel Bilson’s, Aceves suggests wearing a knit cap. The weave allows for flexibility so that your style doesn’t get crimped. I agree with Ms. Bilson and her advice. I don’t think there should be too much to worry about this season with the hat styles that are out this season(newsboys and knit caps).

The Trick: “Before putting on a hat, spritz a brush with hairspray and run it through your hair. It will keep flyaways under control and prevent static,” says Aceves.This  is the perfect way to escape hat head and look cute out on the streets and clubs too!(or where ever you want)

Rachel Bilson wore a summer blue mini dress to the Teen Choice Awards. Her dress was almost bare on her left shoulder and cut to the Roman tunic style.

If you look carefully, you will see that the skirt is shortest in the center and it tapers out to both ends being sufficiently modest.

Rachel’s eyes were made out prettily, and she left out the dark lipsticks. Rachel wore high heels that were made out of leather. The heels were also plastered in reptile skin to give the shoe a leather look. She carried a small, clutch bag type of purse.

Rachel wore her best for the Whitney Art Party and Auction at the Skylight Gallery Space in New York City. This event was held on Tuesday, June 17 in NYC.

Rachel wore Lanvin shoes. The cream colored heels complemented the color of her dress. She was full of confidence and posed next to Max Azria, the designer for the Herve Leger line of fashions.

The Herve Leger is a playful dress and Rachel wore open toed Lanvin shoes to match the mood of the dress.

As Rachel Bilson showed at the recent Chanel Boutique Opening in Los Angeles, blending out the edge of a severe cat eye produces a subtle-yet-sexy effect. The fading smooths the harshness of a cat eye to create a perfect eye for any occasion.

The Trick:Using a creamy eye pencil, draw along your upper lashlines and blend the outer edge of the line a quarter-inch in an upward diagonal direction. Retrace along your lashline to create a more defined line.

I know this has nothing to do with a fashion type site but I love gossip girl and this couple so I wanted to post on this moment.

Now that Gossip Girl costars have come out of the dating closet and confirmed their dating status, we all have to take pause to wonder, Is this really a good idea? You know, don’t poop where you eat? Though I’m no celebrity, I’ve witnessed a few work romances that ended in awkward silences avoidance. Usually things don’t work out.

With that warning said, if you put a bunch of attractive, single people together, something is going to happen, especially in Hollywood, where people are horny, savage beasts, well some at least. There have been no shortage of costars that have met on the set and started a romance; some are still together, some have called it quits.For example Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman: Divorced, Courtney Cox and David Arquette: Got it going on!, Adam Brody and Rachel Bilson: Slip and supposedly Rachel is dating Hayden Christensen, Michael J Fox and Tracey Pollen: Still on!, and Milo Ventimiglia and Hayden Panettiere: Still on but too soon to tell!

In hopes of rejuvenating store sales, Sears hooked up with LL Cool J to launch an apparel line named LL Cool J For Sears. Irv Neger, Sears’ senior vice president of apparel seems hopeful stating, “If all goes as planned, the LL Cool J brand would be a boost for the store’s ’softer side’.”

Not only does the store need a softer side, Sears needs to keep up with competor’s like P Diddy, Avril Lavigne with Kohl’s and Rachel Bilson with DKNY Jeans. Sears has everything now they need to start to be specific towards the young crowd, which is the goal for the new LL Cool J line.

The higher-priced, casual sportswear collection ranges from $22 to $50 and is set to launch in 600 stores by the holiday season. The line will include embroidered jackets and tees donned with rapper’s famous song lyrics. I say that this is a bit random, no? But the Best of luck.

With bright colors and rich jewel tones being the hot hues on the runway, darker, richer hair color is also becoming en vogue. So much so that blondes like Ashlee Simpson are going darker — and natural brunettes like Natalie Portman are getting extra color dimension to enhance their brown strands.

Glowing Skin

This spring, skin is the focus. While clothes will become brighter and bolder, make-up will take a more natural turn to help balance things out. “We’re playing more with texture, and really spending a lot of time on the skin, using lots of moisturizer,” says James Boehmer, NARS international lead make-up stylist. “It’s almost a satin-y skin — not really shiny, not really matte.”

To get glowing skin like Vanessa Hudgens and Kate Bosworth, start with a hydrating moisturizer and add sheen with a dab of liquid foundation. Use loose powder around the nose and blush on the apples of your cheeks, followed by highlighter.

Sleek Pumps

Chunky platforms are fun, but pumps will take precedent once spring hits. Whether they’re colorful and shiny — or metallic like Kat DeLuna’s heels and Audrina Patridge’s sandals — sleek and feminine footwear is fab for spring!

Copper Eyes

Slate eye shadow was stylin’ for winter, but copper eyes like Scarlett Johansson’s are hot for spring. Not a big copper fan? Don’t be shy about exploring a wider range of eye shadow options! Ones to try: emerald green, rich plum, shimmery champagne and/or sultry silver.

Mod Florals

If you associate florals with that flowery pastel dress you wore in elementary school, think again! Bright, splashy floral patterns are totes hot for spring. And if you pair them with black they work as a great transitional trend. Just look at Kylie Minogue, Jordin Sparks, and Jennifer Garner; they’re wearing floral pieces and it’s not even spring yet! Hot.

The LOOK: Though we’re sure Rachel Bilson’s makeup is more than just a little eyeliner, blush and lip stain, it gives the appearance of being utterly simplistic and at the same time stunning. Keep the eyes basic: a flesh-color base all-over the lid, followed by liner on the inside of the lower line and along the upper lashline. Then swipe a pretty pink stain over lips.

The TRICK: Novices, stick to kohl pencils—they tend to be easier to work with than liquid liners. If a pencil seems stiff, soften it by wrapping a fist around the pencil for ten seconds to warm it.
