If there’s one thing I admire about Britney, that would be her determination to look good. The pop diva used to look drag and saggy a few years back, but since she wanted to look fabulous in her return to the showbiz world, she toned and shaped up. Now, the 27-year old entertainer’s got a sexy toned bod which she showed off while on vacation in Australia, and she really looked hot in her two-piece. Well, congratulations, Britney. And yeah, the young radiant mom’s glowing more than ever, and I bet it’s because of her best accessory-her agent and boyfriend, Jason Trawick.

Pink is and will always be hot-that’s true. But sometimes, the girly color loses its magic touch when worn at the wrong shades and by the wrong people. Unfortunately in this case, I’m referring to Marisa Tomei. Marisa, who’s been out and about in the red carpet for the past few months and has been praised for her elegant fashion sense, apparently made the wrong move by wearing a stiff hot pink dress designed by Jean Desses, and while she attempted to be a prom queen, she ended up looking like an overaged teenager. Sorry Marisa, you didn’t win the fashion report card this time around.

Sharon Stone has been hitting the limelight lately, mainly because of her presence in various events where she shows off her really gorgeous bod. However, she somehow fails in the fashion report card, as she becomes more and more notorious for wearing silly outfits, like this one she wore at Elton John’s gala. Her all-black leather ensemble reminds me of the ’80s, especially when she added that fishnet skirt that veiled her legs. She would have done better without the veil, but still she looked silly. Well, the only thing I like her messed up style is her fedora, which reminds me of Michael Jackson. Dear, why didn’t you use your MENSA powers to come up with such good style?

Robin Wright has just taken off the “Penn” from her name, after filing for divorce for the second time against estranged hubby Sean Penn. She has a new movie by the way, “The Private Lives of Pippa Lee.” And since she’s starting a new life, Robin made it a point to look new as well-by dyeing her hair black. Robin has been known for her blond locks all throughout, and it’s quite a surprise that she goes out with ebony hair. I find her hair hot and perfect for her look, and I agree with her choice of mane this time around. But hey, this doesn’t mean that I also like Ashlee Simpson’s black new do, okay?

Newcomer actress Gabourey Sidibe is making headlines for her outstanding performance in the city drama “Precious: Based on the Novel “Push” by Sapphire.” The plus size actress, known for her raw acting abilities, glammed up for an event in a purple gown that made her look like a diva in her own right. She also had her locks straightened for the evening, as compared to her original curly mane. And while Hollywood has a great dislike for not-so-sexy figures such as her, Gabourey was able to make a statement for proving that plus-size actresses do have a place in tinseltown as well. Move over, Mariah!

We apparently missed something at the 2009 CMA Awards last week, but it’s not the fashion hits-rather, the fashion miss. Country music couple Joey Martin Feek and Rory Lee arrived in totally outrageous cowboy outfits at the said awards show, with Feek wearing a checkered one-piece dress and booties, while her songwriter hubby donned in an overall carpenter jumper which, I could say, is definitely inappropriate. Weren’t they informed that they are attending a high-profile event and not a barnyard square dance? Oh well, at least Joey seemed to not mind her hubby’s fashion faux pas, and still managed to smile all throughout the night.

Kelly Osbourne is among the celebs who have been continuously battling weight fluctuations. She has been slim, chubby then fat and then now she trying to slim down again. Nowadays she has tuned into dancing as her new form of weight loss regimen, and this is through her participation in the reality dance contest, “Dancing with the Stars.” According to the Brit celeb, she has actually lost 20 lbs. while on the show, and she hopes to lose more as they move to the show’s finals. While I haven’t seen much results from Kelly’s current figure, I do congratulate her for shedding off those extra flabs, and I wish her all the best in losing more.

Nicole Richie was one of the stars who plunged into the dreadful celebrity requirement of being thin, thus she suffered from bouts of suspected anorexia and bulimia a few years back (though she repeatedly denied these). However, the once-troubled darling of singer Lionel Richie was able to bring back her own life and beauty after choosing to be a mom rather than a reality TV star/celebutante. In 2008, Nicole glowed beautifully when she gave birth to a baby girl named Harlow, and this year she and other half Benjie Madden had their son Sparrow. She was successfully able to put on more weight following her problems with hyperglycemia, and has since enjoyed a new kind of glow.
