Former “The Hills” star Lauren Conrad has been out of the spotlight lately, but she’s making a comeback not as a celeb, but as a writer. She has a new book entitled “Sweet Little Lies” which is off to hit the bookstores this month, but that’s not why she’s featured here. I just want to comment on her coat which she donned at “Good Morning America,” which is so bright yellow. I know she’s trying to make a sunny impression to the audiences of the morning show, but I think her smile is just enough for that. She could’ve donned in another, less blinding dress and allowed the accessories to do the trick.

Big ribbons floating on a girl’s coif is getting back on the fashion trends this time of the year, and they didn’t even need some major reinvention! The ever versatile bow that has been in and out of the fashion scene never failed to set the trend, and these days it’s grabbing the camera’s attention thanks to celebrities such as Lauren Conrad, Paris Hilton and Kiera Knightley. They’re only a few of the stars caught with a flimsy bow on their heads, making them this season’s trend setters. As for me, the black satin bow is always a classic, and I’d give it a two thumbs up for being back in the biz. I love it!
